New You Hair Salon is located a few minutes walk from Clacton Factory Shopping Village on Gorse Lane Industrial Estate, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.
The salon is a 5 chair co-working salon with free parking outside and lots of natural light, it is decorated in a lovely modern, clean palette with a relaxing and calm feel, ideal for clients to relax and for you to work in.
how much is it to rent a chair?
It costs just £30 a day to rent a chair in our salon and you are invoiced weekly for the set days that you choose to work in the salon.
what products can i use?
You are free to use whatever styling, care and colour brands you wish.
We stock Goldwell care and styling range if you would like to use them.
What's included?
- Back bar shampoo and conditioner
- Towels
- Gowns
- Styling chair large mirror and trolley
- Styling Products (if you want to use them)
- Refreshments for clients

No we don’t you just pay your daily chair rent per week and you keep the rest of what you’ve earned
How do I access my earnings?
You handle all of your own money from your clients and you decide which payment method you accept.
Do I need insurance?
Yes you do. As a freelance hairstylist you need your own public liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million cover.
Do I need to be qualified?
Yes you need to be a qualified hairstylist, you will be asked to provide proof of this.
Is there a uniform?
No you are free to wear what clothing you choose to show your own personality to represent your business.
What products can I use?
As a independent stylist you purchase and use what colour and styling brand you choose. We do stock Goldwell styling and care range in the salon which you are free to use if you choose.
Are refreshments for clients supplied?
Yes we have Teas (normal,decaf and herbel) Latte, Cappacino and fruit squashes available for your clients
Is there parking at the salon?
Yes there is free parking right outside the salon for stylists and clients.
How will I gain clients?
Establishing a client base is your own responsibility, we do have a website that you can feature on with your social media and contact links if you choose.
